An Evening in: Calvin Arsenia

Westbottoms , TBA, Kansas City, Mo

Elaborate. Eccentric. Whimsical. Sexy. An Evening In: Calvin Arsenia is a daring, original, theatrical concert as a follow up to his legendary immersive recordBar debut, Catastrophe. The performance includes a premiere collaboration with international filmmaker and director Alison Claire Peck with live music, intricate costumes, and (as is his usual modus operandi) sights, sounds, tastes, and smells. Guest artists include piano savant Mark Lowrey, jazz genius John Kizilarmut, and The Sextet’s master maestro Robert Castillo.

Arsenia’s work transcends the typical concert-going experience by combining performance art, theatre, and music inspired by folk, jazz, classical, and soul traditions all the while wielding an electric Celtic harp.

This will be Arsenia’s last curated Kansas City spectacle until Summer 2018. Tickets are limited. Pre-purchase required. Tickets will not be available at the door.

Location is a 5 minute drive from downtown Kansas City, TBA.

Guests of Highest Regard (5 seats left) are invited to seated dinner prepared by award winning culinary artist Chef Carlos Falcon* before the performance beginning at 6pm with reserved front row seating during the performance.

Honored guests (50 seats available) should expect light refreshments and all the other sights, sounds, smells, and feels of the night.

21+ Not intended for sensitive viewers. Black tie attire. Accessible entry available.
