Fashion in Film: Summer in Hindsight
During the global Covid-19 pandemic, The West 18th Street Fashion Show decided to pivot, like most things, and created a film showcasing the designer's work; the film was premiered at The Boulevard Drive-In Theater in Kansas City on October 13, 2020. The film starred Calvin Arsenia as musician-turned-delivery-driver who to brought objects and food to different scenes in Kansas City where wonderous and sometimes strange smalls groups of people had gathered. Arsenia also scored the soundtrack with contributions from New Orleans-based heartthrob punk rock vibes player, Mike Dillon, and a track by Boyfriend ft. Big Freedia.
