The Emerald is turning 1 year old and we want YOU to help us celebrate! Drinks, food, clowns, burlesque, drag, sideshow, and lots of dancing!
Saturday April 27th! Wowie can’t believe it’s already been a year since we officially opened The Emerald. Last April we really hit the ground running on our quest to provide a space that encourages performers to experiment, chase ambitious ideas and make attempts to push the boundaries of their mediums.
We’re very proud to be part of the Kansas City arts community, so we would love to invite you all to celebrate with us for our one year birthday party! Dress up and make sure to wear your dancing shoes, because we’ve got @marmoppes providing live dance music all night! It wouldn’t be a party without showcasing some of our favorite local performers in town! We’re talkin clowns, burlesque, live music, magic, sideshow, comedy and more! If you’ve yet to come to The Emerald, this is the one to write down in your calendars.
